Forging the Future with Visionary Leaders

Tatyana Mamut
Founder / CEO

Introduction

In my recent conversation on the Leaders on AI podcast, I shared how my journey—from being raised in a family of engineers to earning a Ph.D. in anthropology—has uniquely positioned me to shape the future of AI. As the CEO of Wayfound.ai, I draw from both my academic background and professional experience to empower businesses to use AI agents effectively and meaningfully.

Anthropology as a Lens for Change

My fascination with social systems led me to study how cultures evolve and change. One core concept from my research is the "collapse of the known future"—a moment when long-held societal expectations dissolve, demanding new narratives. This mirrors what many businesses are experiencing now amid rapid technological shifts.

Why Traditional AI Workflows Fall Short

Many companies began implementing AI agents in 2024 by automating existing workflows. I’ve seen this firsthand and believe it's a mistake to treat generative AI like an assembly-line worker. Doing so stifles the very creativity that makes these tools valuable. AI agents are better suited to dynamic tasks that allow for improvisation and innovation.

The Birth of Wayfound.ai

Wayfound was born out of the need to simplify and democratize AI agent deployment. Instead of relying on teams of engineers and data scientists to test and monitor agents manually, we built an AI Manager that automates this process. It reads every session, identifies issues, and sends alerts—cutting down deployment timelines from months to just weeks.

Empowering Business Users

One of my key goals with Wayfound was to eliminate the technical hurdles that make AI feel inaccessible. You don’t need to be a software engineer to use our platform. We’ve built intuitive dashboards and out-of-the-box evaluative tools so that business owners and product managers can manage their AI agents directly, without decoding log files or writing complex code.

Putting AI in Context

I often draw comparisons to major historical shifts, like the Ice Age or the introduction of the automobile. Initially, these innovations were limited to experts, but they eventually became mainstream. The same is happening with AI. Just as cars became accessible to everyday drivers, AI tools must become intuitive and user-friendly—and that’s what Wayfound delivers.

Building Smarter AI Interns

I often describe AI development in three stages:

  • Pre-training: Done by major companies like OpenAI and Google, feeding the models billions of data points.
  • Post-training: Similar to schooling, this phase refines how models understand and interact with the world.
  • Customization: This is where your business comes in—training the AI to understand your unique processes.

Wayfound is your partner in this last step, providing the infrastructure to do it easily and cost-effectively.

Conclusion

Wayfound.ai reflects everything I believe about technology and humanity. By merging anthropological insight with cutting-edge AI, we help businesses deploy agents they can trust—without needing a team of experts. We’re creating the tools for this new era, empowering organizations to navigate change confidently and collaboratively.
